It's always tough to start anything—trust me. Whether it's business, a project, a new job, a new career, or marriage (not there yet, but I've heard it takes a lot of discipline and determination). On September 19th, 2016, I felt the Holy Spirit inspire me to start writing. And I'm obeying that voice completely and wholeheartedly. WHY THIS? WHY NOW? I've been blessed with lots of gifts and talents—I'm super grateful for all of them. But I never thought writing would be one of them. Why not? Because I love talking. Anyone close to me knows this. I literally talk for hours—on the phone, in person, everywhere. I almost pity my friends who have to tolerate my incessant rambling. Sometimes I swear they're thinking, "Which kind girl be this?" (lol). But here's the thing: it's almost impossible to live without me once you get to know me, so they're stuck with me forever! 😄 So why writing? Honestly, I'm still asking God that question myself. But my first answer? To reduce the hours I talk. Instead of talking for hours, I'm channeling that energy into writing. Plus, it'll cut down on the gossip that comes out of my mouth. I bind any spirit of gossip in the name of Jesus! (Yes, I said it.) A FAIR WARNING If I ever upload this online, critique my grammar—I'll learn from that. But don't bother attacking my writing skills or professionalism (I can't even remember what grade I got in English Composition). And don't come looking for fancy vocabulary. I don't have that. What I do have: A vision, a message, personality—an outstanding one!!! WHAT YOU'LL FIND HERE I always have so many useful things to say, and I'm always a blessing. Whatever this becomes—whether a website, a blog, or something more—I know you'll be hugely blessed by it. My first real topic? God. My Heavenly Father. Of course. If you're in love the way I am, you gush about your "Boo." Growing up, I've seen lots of things, read lots of things, tested many things, and admired lots of things. But the way this Invisible Person makes me feel? Out of this world. I was never taught about Jesus in a romantic way when I was growing up. He was shown to me as a Static Supernatural Hercules with rules and regulations—"break them and it'll never be well with you until you fast and pray." Thank God for revelation! THE 360-DEGREE TURN Things completely changed when I came to know this beautiful Jesus. My life made a full 360-degree turn. I stopped the blame game. I stopped blaming people for my life and situation. I stopped treating the devil like he was my mate—because he's not. I'm of a higher class, and he knows I know who I am. My life has become more enjoyable. I'm always fulfilled. I'm free to be me. Who said Christianity restricts? I'm sure that person was talking about religion. And no—I'm not a religious person. Why would I need religion when I have an incredible relationship? A PROMISE I pray for the staying power to sustain this dream God has given me. And I promise to study professional writing and essay structure so the insults will be minimal. (But I welcome them anyway—where's the fun if everyone is fake?) Here's what I can promise you: A super fun read that will make people research to figure out what kind of creature I am. I can fake it in real life, but I will never fake it in my writing. This is where I get to be unapologetic, brutally honest, hysterical to the nonsense degree, and deeply motivational. And that's exactly what I do. --- On this note, I declare the Inspiring Life of Ammadee chronicles officially opened.
